Ambedkar wanted Dalits to use Buddhism as a way to emancipate and empower themselves. However, certain casteists have launched a propaganda and disinformation campaign against Buddhism to confuse Ambedkarites as Savarnas or upper castes dominate the narrative in India -- from Conferences to TV Debates -- and Dalits are never even invited to speak or participate. While we have a proven track record of promoting Interfaith Dialogue and Goodwill among all communities, it is essential that we clarify myths and misrepresentations about Buddhism for the benefit of all Dalits & Buddhists alike.
